AK Electronics manufactures ANSI C136.41 compliant dimmable photocell receptacles designed to be used with photocells with dimmable luminaires, typically for area and roadway lighting.

Our receptacle assemblies include 3 NEMA Twist Lock power contacts and are additionally available with 2 or 4 signal contacts for 0-10V and DALI dimming control.

Shorting caps can be mated with NEMA photocell receptacles to complete the electrical circuit and allow for the normal operation of lights without using photocells.

We offer 5 and 7 position photocell bases compatible with NEMA photocell receptacles. The photocell bases are intended to be used as the mating portion for customized photocontrol solutions.

The photocontrol cover is intended to be used in combination with our photocell bases and serves to enclose and protect photocontrol electronics.

Gaskets are recommended for use between receptacles and their mounting surfaces (generally the luminaire housing) to help to provide a better seal.

We offer both silicone and cork rubber gaskets.

For applications where a smaller solution is required, AK Electronics also offers an ANSI C136.24 compliant button type photocell. This photocell offers a simple and reliable solution for lighting control.
